Marjorie Hollingshead is the owner of Zainabu Cosmetics Inc. She has more than 20 years experience in the entertainment and beauty industry, working as a professional airbrush artist, and a licensed Skin Care Specialist in the state of Florida. As a certified air brush artist, she specializes in body art, air brush and traditional makeup application. She received her training in New York while working at Bergdorf Goodman. She later relocated to Miami and continued her training at Nieman Marcus in Bal Harbour, Florida with Christian Dior, Borghese and Estee Lauder.
Marjorie was the first custom blend specialist hired by the Prescriptive Cosmetics Company in 1989. She was trained exclusively by Prescriptive on how to custom blend foundations and powders to match the skin tone perfectly. After leaving Prescriptive Cosmetics she went on to work for J. Strickland and Company as a Territory Sales Manager and trainer for the Zuri Cosmetics Line, travelling to Nassau, Bahamas twice a year to train cosmeticians on make up application and skincare . While at J. Strickland she decided to fulfill her dream by starting her own company. She created Zainabu Cosmetics in 2006.
Zainabu Cosmetics has a full line of colors and treatment for men, women and teenagers.
Marjorie has worked on a variety of projects including “Working The Word” Talk Show, Music Video Shoots for Major Recording Artists “Skywalker Records” Photo Shoots, Fashion Shows, and as a make up artist for local TV news anchor Dwight Lauderdale.
Often her work takes her on location for the numerous wedding parties and events within and outside the U.S. Her 20 years experience as a make up artist has given her the expertise to create any style you are looking for.
Whether her work takes her on location for a catalog photo shoot, or backstage of a runway for a fashion show or to a bride's house, Marjorie demonstrates her talent and desire to create a flawless style to enhance the subject.
